| Tewksbury is a suburban community located in Middlesex County just south of the City of Lowell. Originally developed as part of the Town of Billerica, the Town of Tewksbury was formed in the early 18th century. Tewksbury, like many of the surrounding towns has seen an increase in new construction over the past decade. Tewksbury offers housing such as small condominiums and ranch and cape style dwellings for the first time buyer to large 3000+ square foot homes for those with higher incomes. With direct access to both Interstates 93 and 495, Tewksbury offers a convenient commute to regional employment and shopping centers.
